Lately, I’ve been deeply inspired by Marcus Aurelius, the Roman emperor whose Stoic philosophy and reflections on life resonate profoundly with our OGT ethos. His teachings on introspection, mindfulness, and the power of thoughts remind us that true happiness and fulfillment come from within, reflecting our inner gold. One of his most poignant quotes, "What we do now echoes in eternity," perfectly captures the timeless impact of our actions.
With that quote in mind, I am thrilled to share some exciting updates:
We’ve now surpassed the planting of 100,000 trees—a milestone achievement made possible by you. Each OGT item you own represents one of these trees, contributing to a global love forest that wraps the planet in a golden thread. Here are answers to the most common questions about our environmental impact:
- Why do you plant trees? Trees are the fastest solution to achieve climate wellness.
- Where do you plant? We support projects by our NGO partner, One Tree Planted, addressing climate change, forest fires, wildlife corridors, and urban deserts. For details, check out our OGT Impact Report.
- What kind of trees are planted? Species are chosen based on the biodiversity needs of the project. For example, in the Amazon, we planted 20,000 trees of 98 different varieties.
