WASHING:
For NO Shrinkage: Dry Clean or Machine Wash Cold & Line Dry.
For MINIMAL Shrinkage: Machine Wash Cold & place in dryer on Low Heat. Approximate 10% shrinkage.
To best preserve & protect the 108 buttons, if choosing to dry in dryer, we recommend buttoning The Shacket all the way up before placing in dryer, AND turn garment inside out (That way, the metal button are not clanging on the side of the dryer. While the sound may be rhythmic music to your ears, it doesn't take a Mensa IQ to understand that's not the best care : )
SIZING GUIDANCE:
The Shacket is true to size. Antonio, the "model citizen" shown, is 6', 170 lbs, and is wearing a size medium. Size up or down as desired.
Note that this piece is also unisexy. Gents, be forewarned, buy two to protect against rampant girlfriend theivery.
I love the way this piece looks and really wanted it for myself. Unfortunately, as an ultra slim, broad shouldered, 6’3” man, it just didn’t fit.
The size medium was too tight around my inner elbows, chest and shoulders, while the size large had far too much excess fabric around the waist for my fitted taste.
The final strike was when I realized that I couldn’t get the collar to stay flush with my neck. The garment would inevitably get pulled back and constantly required me to readjust the collar.
I honestly don’t know if this is a design flaw or if the design is simply not compatible with my unusual body type. However, if you’re super tall and slim or someone who doesn’t usually fit into traditional sizes, there’s a chance you might experience the same problem.
Materials: 10/10 , Aesthetics: 10/10 , Fit : 2/10
Believe me when I say I was heartbroken to return this. I love this piece. However, with that fair but high price point, it needs to fit perfectly.
Suggestion: Offer slim fit as a size option.
