There is something especially sexy about clothes that leave a little space around the body.

The Mod doesn’t squeeze your curves to prove they’re there.

It lets them move.

Substantial without feeling heavy.

Wide without overwhelming you.

The cotton grounds the silhouette while the TreeSilk™ panels create movement along the outside leg.

Tumble dry low heat for everyday care and to preserve the intended fit and feel.

Want a touch of shrinkage? Additional heat may produce some additional shrinkage in the natural fibers, though results will vary.

Our preferred ritual if you wish to prefer the existing exact size:

Wash. Low dry. Pull from dryer damp. Put back on body. Repeat.

Because these may never actually make it back into your drawer.

For the last 10 years, I’ve been thinking about the concept and construct of OGT Post Cool™.

The spaces.
The places.
The pieces.
The humans.

The ones that simply don’t try.

There’s something magnetic about that energy. Nothing performed. Nothing overworked. Nothing reaching for approval.

Not trying. Just is.

Those words came into my consciousness years ago, and I’ve been dreaming ever since of designing something that could fully embody that feeling.

The Mod Pant is the epitome.

And when I see it on a woman, something else happens.

The silhouette doesn’t dictate her shape.

Her shape animates the silhouette.

Her hips.
Her stride.
Her curves.
Her confidence.

The long, liquid line moves around her rather than asking her body to fit some predetermined idea of what a pant — or a woman — is supposed to look like.

Then she walks.

The TreeSilk™ panels cascade down the outside leg and suddenly the entire pant is in motion with her.

There’s a little memory of another era in the silhouette, but no nostalgia. It feels entirely now — maybe even a little after now.

And as with everything One Golden Thread, simplicity is only the first read.
