Pangea Tea is a husband-and-wife team bridging ancient tea traditions with modern rituals, reminding us of our shared oneness. More than a product, Pangea Tea reflects their journey of discovering tea as a unifying force across cultures.

Sanjay first envisioned Pangea Tea in 2008 while at a Chicago teahouse, though his career initially took him through music and tech. A deep dive into tea began in 2019, leading him to explore tea culture worldwide, learning from masters, farmers, and monks, before reviving his long-held dream.

Rachael, rooted in Oregon’s natural beauty, found her connection to nature deepened through urban living. As a yoga and meditation teacher, she integrates tea’s ancient healing qualities into practices of community and unity, weaving it seamlessly into her lifelong commitment to healing and connection.

Destiny played its part—after all, their first date was at a teahouse.

The OGT Oasis is the newly created restorative respite from the buzz of the outside world. An outdoor zen lounge on Abbot Kinney designed for patrons to deepen their relaxation & connection to self, others & spirit, this experiential melting pot designed in collaboration between One Golden Thread & TRAUM CDMX, a transcendent space & place designed to discover something new. From wellness, to conversations, to tea sits beside a Japanese Maple Tree, to celebrations, our intent is to gather and bring community vibes back to Abbot Kinney. Adjunct to the front-of-house One Golden Thread experiential retail store, The Oasis “outdoor loving room” shall host a variety of bespoke events, including fireside talks, golden hour musical performances, and well-being sessions, providing a container for community engagement and enrichment to thrive.
